This role offers an exciting opportunity to service a portfolio of existing home loan customers, providing 'best in class' service and identifying opportunities for customer retention.

What you'll do:

As a Loans Officer, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service to a portfolio of existing home loan customers. You will handle everyday queries, process various requests, and strive to provide 'best in class' service at all times. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to interact effectively with customers, while your keen eye for detail will ensure accurate record-keeping. You'll also play a key role in identifying opportunities for customer retention, contributing to the company's ongoing success.

Service a portfolio of existing home loan customers with everyday queries and requests
Provide excellent customer service both verbally and written
Identify opportunities for customer retention
Process requests from customers and brokers for statements and other documentation in an efficient and timely manner
Maintain records and notes of customer interactions and filing documents accurately
Recommend ways to improve processes by monitoring workflows


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Loans Officer position brings a wealth of experience from the financial services mortgage industry. With at least 3 years' experience under your belt, you have honed your skills in customer service within this sector. Your understanding of home loan repayments is comprehensive, encompassing aspects such as direct debit requirements, redraws, and offset accounts. Your attention to detail is impeccable, complemented by your excellent customer service knowledge. You are comfortable using computer and web applications, demonstrating high competency in language use. Above all else, you are driven and self-motivated, always striving to exceed targets.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the financial services mortgage industry
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Customer Service environment
Good understanding of home loan repayments, including direct debit requirements, redraw, and offset accounts
High degree of attention to detail with excellent customer service knowledge
High degree of competency in language, computer, and web applications
Driven and self-motivated to exceed targets
