Actuarial Officer
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Actuarial Officer to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist the Actuarial Services team in providing actuarial data and analysis. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on significant projects such as the triennial valuation of the State’s defined benefit superannuation schemes, SA Police Scheme, and Triple S Scheme. What you'll do:
As an Actuarial Officer, your role will be pivotal in supporting the Actuarial Services team. You will be involved in key projects such as the triennial valuation of various superannuation schemes. Your ability to conduct thorough research, analyse complex data, and prepare detailed reports will be crucial to your success in this role. You will also engage in programming and statistical modelling, further enhancing your technical skills. Your ability to manage multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines, and work independently will be highly valued.
- Supporting the completion of the triennial valuation of the State’s defined benefit superannuation schemes, SA Police Scheme, and Triple S Scheme.
- Conduct research, analyse data, and prepare information for discussion papers and reports.
- Collect and prepare data for analytical work.
- Engage in programming and statistical modelling.
- Work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Analyse and interpret superannuation information and data from multiple sources.

The ideal candidate for the Actuarial Officer role brings a wealth of skills and experience. You hold a tertiary qualification in a numerate or finance field and have proven experience in research and analysis work.
