A leading Financial Services firm is currently hiring a Financial Analyst into their growing team on a permanent basis. The FP&A Analyst will report directly into the FP&A Manager and be responsible for carrying out key financial deliverables as well as provide strategic advice to management which will support the increased demands of finance as a result of the business growth. The ideal candidate must have a background within Financial Services as well as experience working across the full P&L.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve existing finance internal reporting and decision support to effectively influence strategic decision making
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting process, including supporting the FP&A Manager and Head of Finance with development of local and regional target setting
- Support the FP&A Manager with the annual strategic plan process, engaging with country heads, heads of departments and group finance.
- Support the FP&A Manager to drive business performance through insightful management reporting
- Departmental Analysis – assist the finance team in improving departmental cost reporting and developing non-financial KPIs.
- KPI performance and benchmarks - continuously review, develop and improve KPIs.
- Competitor analysis.
- Provide strategic, financial, and commercial evaluation of business initiatives to delivery growth by benchmarking against competitors and marketing conditions
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant – CA / CPA or equivalent
- Experience within Financial Services, Markets experience preferred
- Advanced Excel knowledge – modelling/macro knowledge essential. SQL experience desired
- Excellent communication skills (this role will require interaction and challenge of senior internal stakeholders)
