Senior Associate - Private Credit

Opportunity to join a leading private credit fund in a role focusing on structuring and execution of complex corporate deals.

This leading private credit fund specialising in complex corporate lending solutions is interested in recruiting a highly skilled Senior Associate to their Sydney team. The firm provides tailored financing solutions to middle market and large corporates. The Senior Associate will play a crucial role in structuring, modelling and execution of complex financing transactions, working closely with the investment team to analyse opportunities to optimise deal structures. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of the firm while gaining exposure to a diverse rang of industries and investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Leading financial modelling and analysis for new investment opportunities, including cash flow projections, scenario analysis and sensitivity testing
• Collaborate with the investment team to asses credit risk, negotiate terms and structure transactions
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, evaluating financial statements, legal documentation and industry trends
• Monitor portfolio performance and conduct ongoing analysis of the loan book
  
  
  Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in finance, economics or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience working within IB, corporate lending, restructuring, transaction services or private credit fund
• Experience structuring complex corporate transactions
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analysis with advanced excel skills
• Deep understanding of corporate lending
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
