Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Continuity Manager to join their team. This role is integral to the organisation's resilience, ensuring compliance within APRA regulations and mitigating the risk of unexpected business disruptions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead programme activities across the business unit, develop and maintain the Business Resilience Management (BRM) Framework, and assist related party business units in achieving business resilience.

What you'll do:

As a Business Continuity Manager, your role will be pivotal in coordinating Business Resilience Management (BRM) within our client's lines of business. You will be responsible for leading all programme activities across the business unit, assisting related party business units in achieving their required level of business resilience. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and maintaining the BRM Framework, facilitating Business Impact Analysis exercises, and developing/updating Business Resilience Plans.

  • Coordinate Business Resilience Management (BRM) on behalf of the organisation within their lines of business
  • Support & lead all programme activities across the business unit
  • Assist related party business units in achieving the required level of business resilience
  • Ensure compliance with SPS232 and manage efforts towards mitigating the risk of unexpected business disruptions
  • Develop and maintain BRM Framework, including development of policies, procedures, charters and other relevant documentation
  • Facilitate Business Impact Analysis exercises and Business Resilience Plan development/updates


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Continuity Manager role brings a wealth of experience from a professional services or customer services background. With at least 10 years' experience under your belt, you have demonstrated success in driving and implementing Business Resilience management programs within an Australian Superannuation context. Your excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, financial skills, and proven stakeholder management capabilities make you a standout candidate. Your ability to work effectively across an organisation will be key to your success in this role.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in professional services organization or professional customer services
  • Demonstrated experience in driving and implementing Business Resilience management programs in an Australian Superannuation context
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and financial skills
  • Proven stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively across the organisation
