You will be joining an established bank as the Transaction Monitoring & Reporting Team Lead within a dynamic and growing team with a strong focus on development and progression, whilst on a fixed term contract.

About the Company
A leading foreign bank based in Sydney with a strong company focus on development, support and flexibility.

About the role:
Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Transaction Monitoring and Reporting team and building ML/TR risk culture
  • Leading risk review to identify and mitigate ML/TR risks.
  • Updating & maintaining procedures to improve operations.
  • Preparing reports to share financial crime and SMR insights with stakeholders.
  • Reporting at risk & compliance forums and AML committees.
  • Driving improvements to transaction analysis and reporting process.

    About the you:
    You have:
  • Degree/Postgraduate in Banking/Accounting or related field.
  • 7+ years in banking, 5+ years in AML/TM, with team management.
  • Strong understanding of FCC, financial products, and banking processes.
  • Diligent, strong leadership, and people management.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong risk-oriented mindset with an ability to implement effective changes.
