Risk & Compliance Officer

You will be joining an established research and education network company as a risk & compliance officer within a dynamic and growing team with a strong focus on development and progression.

About the role:

Responsibilities include:
· Lead risk management governance and drive framework adoption.
· Improve risk processes, identify risks, and address control gaps.
· Lead risk reviews with senior management and report to the Board.
· Develop and manage compliance policy, framework, and monitoring.
· Oversee control testing, issue management, and regulatory compliance.
· Manage the company's privacy policy, impact assessments, and training.
· Handle data breaches, advise on data handling, and drive privacy improvements.

About the you:

You have:
· Relevant degree in Business or Law.
· 3-5 years of experience in risk management, auditing, governance, or similar fields.
· Proficient in conducting internal audits and developing audit processes.
· Experienced with risk management frameworks, controls, and documentation.
· Understanding of privacy legislation and the Telecommunications Act.
