Senior Manager - Market Risk

You will be joining an established bank as a senior manager within a dynamic and growing team with a strong focus on development and progression.

About the role:

Responsibilities include:
· Manage VaR, stress testing, and risk reporting in compliance with APS116, APS180, and Pillar 3.
· Provide technical oversight and ensure regulatory alignment.
· Analyze results, address process issues, and drive improvements.
· Ensure strong risk controls, efficient procedures, and manage JUNO issues.
· Handle ad-hoc queries, document procedures, and review new products.
· Monitor regulatory changes and provide data to regulators.

About the you:

You have:
· 7+ years of market risk experience with deep knowledge of financial markets and risk practices.
· Strong understanding of prudential reporting and regulatory frameworks.
· Expertise in business/data analysis, data quality management, and reconciliation.
· Skilled in system and process controls, and proficient in SQL, R, or Python.
· Graduate and postgraduate qualifications, with relevant certifications.
· Strong analytical, teamwork, and communication skills, able to collaborate across teams.
