Our client is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Assessment Lead for a 6-month contract based in Sydney. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in uplifting and implementing compliance content, ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and processes to understand regulatory requirements linked to their compliance and risk management practices. The successful candidate will have a strong background in content development and facilitation, with high levels of domain knowledge across the Financial Services industry. * 6-month contract based in Sydney * Pivotal role in uplifting and implementing compliance content * High levels of domain knowledge across the Financial Services industry required

What you'll do:

As a Compliance Assessment Lead, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing compliance data that aids effective compliance management. You will provide crucial oversight of content creation, ensuring consistency, standardisation and relevance. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to provide support and coaching to colleagues, as well as deliver periodic updates to business leadership. Your ability to manage multiple priorities will be key as you provide status reports on the progress of content development.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to facilitate the development and/or enhancement of compliance data.
  • Provide oversight of content creation or enhancement to ensure consistency, standardisation and relevance.
  • Provide support and coaching to Line 1 risk & compliance colleagues in the facilitation of content development process.
  • Provide periodic updates directly to business leadership and colleagues on progress and outcomes delivered.
  • Provide status reports on progress of content development to project governance committees.


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Compliance Assessment Lead role brings proven industry experience in compliance management, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards. You have demonstrated expertise in risk and compliance management facilitation, with a track record of designing and delivering effective compliance content. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to engage, influence and motivate diverse audiences. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills allow you to assess complex information and provide actionable insights.

  • Proven industry experience in compliance management, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk and compliance management facilitation.
  • Track record of designing and delivering effective compliance content.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Certified Risk Manager, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional, legal) are desirable.
