Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director for their Private Credit team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the end-to-end execution of the firm's debt investments, providing you with the chance to utilise your advanced experience in credit analysis and debt structuring. You will be working in a dynamic environment where your skills in real estate financing documentation and understanding of real estate valuation principles will be highly valued. This role also provides the opportunity to influence, motivate and persuade key stakeholders both internally and externally.

What you'll do:

As an Associate Director in Private Credit, you will play a pivotal role in leading the execution of debt investments from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough due diligence, risk analysis of real estate investment projects, cash flow modelling and analysis. You will prepare internal investment committee approval papers and present them to the internal investment committee. Your leadership skills will be utilised as you review and sign off on outputs from associates and analysts, providing guidance and oversight on investments. Additionally, you will manage existing investments ensuring timely asset management and investor reporting.

  • Lead the execution of debt investments from end to end, including leading due diligence, risk analysis, cash flow modelling and analysis.
  • Prepare internal investment committee approval papers and present to internal investment committee.
  • Review and sign off on outputs from associates and analysts, providing guidance and oversight on investments.
  • Manage existing investments including timely asset management and investor reporting.
  • Assist Directors in the development of associates and analysts.
  • Support Equity Execution team with execution or asset management where required.


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Associate Director - Private Credit position brings advanced experience in credit analysis and debt structuring. You have gained substantial experience with real estate financing documentation, coupled with a detailed understanding of real estate valuation principles. Your highly developed written and quantitative skills set you apart from others. You are known for your ability to effectively influence, motivate, and persuade key stakeholders both internally and externally. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to confidently present complex information to stakeholders.

  • Advanced experience in credit analysis and debt structuring.
  • Real estate financing documentation experience.
  • Detailed understanding of real estate valuation principles.
  • Highly developed written and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to effectively influence, motivate and persuade key stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
