What you'll do:
As a Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Finance origination team. Your primary responsibility will be assisting in delivering optimal risk, revenue, and profit outcomes from each transaction. You will be involved in every stage of a project's life cycle, from marketing and securing transactions to managing deal information on internal systems. Additionally, you will contribute to research papers and attend industry seminars and presentations. Your ability to manage multiple tasks across various work streams will be crucial for success in this role.
- Assist in marketing, securing and closing project financing transactions
- Ensure all transactions comply with the company's credit and other policies
- Contribute to the maintenance of positive relationships with project sponsors, borrowers, advisors, legal counsels, funds, bank customers
- Manage deal information on various internal systems and associated internal deal processes
- Prepare or contribute to research papers including attending industry seminars and presentations
- Manage the processing of the credit
- Review due diligence
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Associate position brings a wealth of experience in project finance from a major domestic or international bank. You hold an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce or Law from a leading university. Your proficiency in Microsoft products coupled with strong financial modelling skills sets you apart. You possess an understanding of financial and economic markets and have the ability to engage in independent research & analysis of customers and markets. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to build lasting relationships with stakeholders while your analytical mindset allows you to solve complex problems effectively.
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in project finance at a major domestic or international bank
- Undergraduate Business / Commerce / Law Degree from a leading university
- Proficiency in Microsoft products and strong financial modelling skills
- Understanding of financial and economic markets
- Ability to engage in independent research & analysis of customers and markets
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
