What you'll do:

As a Senior Analyst in Private Credit focusing on Property, your role will be pivotal in evaluating new transactions within the property space. You will report directly to the Head of Credit Structuring while working closely with Portfolio Managers and the Execution team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve assessing the viability and risk level of potential loans or investments, reviewing financial documents, conducting detailed analyses of market conditions and potential risks, as well as creating comprehensive credit reports. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in conducting due diligence processes which include site visits to verify information and assess properties' physical condition.

• Assess the creditworthiness and risk associated with real estate-backed loans and investments
• Evaluate both the property itself and the borrower's financial capacity
• Review financial statements, tax returns, rent rolls, and property operating statements
• Prepare detailed development feasibility modelling
• Analyse market conditions, property valuations, and potential risks
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including site visits
• Create detailed credit reports, recommend appropriate loan terms and conditions
• Advise on risk mitigation strategies for approval by IC
• Structure and negotiate terms for subordinated credit and complex/high-risk credit investments

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Analyst role will bring a wealth of knowledge in finance or economics along with specific expertise in property economics. You should have a solid understanding of property valuation methods and real estate market dynamics. Your ability to assess market trends, occupancy rates, rental income projections, and conduct sensitivity analysis will be key to your success in this role. Your experience in property credit, coupled with your strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations, will enable you to excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for report writing and presentations. A collaborative mindset is crucial as you will be working closely with various teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Property Economics
• Knowledge of property valuation methods and real estate market dynamics
• Skill in assessing property market trends, occupancy rates, and rental income projections
• Capability to evaluate collateral and conduct sensitivity analysis
• Familiarity with commercial real estate sectors (office, retail, industrial, multifamily)
• 2-5 years of experience in property credit
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations
• Ability to work effectively in a team and liaise with various departments
