Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate looking for a step up to Associate director to join their dynamic team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your professional experience in the local syndicated loan/corporate banking market, with a focus on origination, structuring and portfolio management. What you'll do:

As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through the development of internal and external networks. You will be responsible for leading the origination, development, due diligence, approval, and implementation of project finance transactions. Your deep understanding of our clients' industries will enable you to develop tailored solutions that meet their unique needs. Additionally, you will manage a diverse loan portfolio while ensuring optimal risk diversification.

• Build and leverage internal and external networks to grow new business
• Support or lead the origination, development, due diligence, approval and implementation of project finance transactions
• Develop solutions that display deep understanding of our clients and their industries
• Proactively manage forward business pipeline
• Arrange and execute credit products for corporate transactions covering bilateral, club and syndicated facilities
• Grow and manage a loan portfolio with a vision for optimal composition and geography, industry and risk diversification
• Recognise client and Bank risks and implement appropriate risk management strategies
• ESG management, including analysis and assessment of ESG risks

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Associate Director position brings a wealth of professional experience in the local syndicated loan/corporate banking market. You possess strong legal, documentation, financial modelling, and risk analysis skills. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively deal with multiple stakeholders. A tertiary degree in a relevant area is required.

• Tertiary degree in a relevant area
• 8 or more years of relevant professional experience in the local syndicated loan/corporate banking market with provable track record
• Strong legal, documentation, financial modelling and risk analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills and experience dealing with multiple stakeholders
• Ideally Mandarin speaking but not necessary
