This full-time role, based in Sydney, offers an exciting opportunity to support investment and portfolio management activities within a leading firm. The successful candidate will have the chance to conduct research, perform financial analysis, and assist in the evaluation and monitoring of investment opportunities. This role is perfect for someone with strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.


What you'll do:

As an Investment Analyst/Associate, your role will be multifaceted. You'll be involved in supporting origination tasks such as preparing marketing materials and presentations. You'll also assist in assessing potential credit opportunities and drafting term sheets. Your role will extend to supporting execution processes including due diligence, credit paper writing, financial analysis, and loan settlement. Additionally, you'll manage a portfolio of borrowers through monitoring monthly reporting and associated credit activities. Your responsibilities will also include supporting capital raising initiatives through preparation of marketing materials and presentations. Lastly, you'll assist with ongoing maintenance of internal systems to accurately reflect portfolio activities.

  • Support origination tasks including preparation of marketing materials and presentations

  • Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities within the Australian and NZ private debt sector


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Investment Analyst/Associate position brings a range of skills and experiences. You hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (ideally in finance or accountancy) and have 0-3 years’ experience gained in a credit fund or Bank, corporate advisory, restructuring or loan workout environment. Your ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously sets you apart from others. You are proficient in Excel and have strong report writing skills. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to liaise professionally with various stakeholders. Above all else, you are organised with an ability to meet deadlines.

  • Bachelor’s degree as a minimum (ideally finance or accountancy certifications)
  • 0-3 years’ experience gained in a credit fund or Bank
  • Property/Real Estate lending experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient excel skills
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised with ability to meet deadlines
