Associate Director / Director - Credit

Opportunity to join a leading non bank lender in a senior Credit role focusing in real estate / construction transactions.

This growing non bank lender is currently recruiting a Associate Director or Director into their Credit team in Sydney. As a Director in Credit Risk within the construction sector, you will be at the forefront of assessing and analysing real estate transactions. Your role will involve leading due diligence, managing approval processes, and fostering stakeholder relationships. The role would suit someone with a background in real estate finance or restructuring and insolvency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sourcing and management of transactions, developing lending structures, and conducting thorough due diligence
  • Manage approval processes, documentation, and foster stakeholder relationships
  • Provide leadership, coaching and development opportunities for junior team members
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent the company in the building and construction industry, networking with key stakeholders
  • Contribute to the design, execution, and monitoring of a business plan

Requirements:

  • Commercial/corporate lending experience within a bank or non bank with a focus on real estate.
  • Strong in risk assessment, financial modelling, and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation
  • Experience within restructuring or workouts also desirable


This role provides the opportunity to work for a growing firm in a high profile, senior role. A competitive salary package will be negotiated for the successful candidate.
