This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and develop a diversified portfolio of small to medium size connections, with a focus on acquiring new customers. The successful candidate will have the chance to engage with business customers from various segments, including SMEs, Small Businesses, and Retail.

As a Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our client's Commercial Banking team. Your primary responsibility will be managing and developing a diversified portfolio of small to medium size connections. You will focus on winning new-to-bank customers, engaging with business customers from various segments, and growing our level of business with them.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a diversified portfolio of small to medium size connections
  • Focus on winning new-to-bank customers
  • Engage with business customers from various segments and grow our level of business with them
  • Leverage your skillset while also growing and delivering value to a business customer portfolio in Commercial Banking
  • Work strategically to grow the business displaying strong commercial acumen
  • Take accountability and understand that partner engagement is highly critical to the success of the team

Key experience:

  • Proven experience in financial analysis and credit assessment
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending and knowledge of risk/compliance processes
  • Proactive individual who can work strategically to grow the business
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Structured thinking and ability to take accountability
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and networking skills
