Senior Credit Analyst - Real Estate - Private Credit

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Analyst/Portfolio Manager to join a dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for asset managing transactions, including undertaking credit analysis, due diligence, documentation, settlement, and ultimate repayment of transactions.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Analyst/Portfolio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing asset transactions in the construction/development finance space. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you review and analyse property investment transactions across various assets. Your interpersonal skills will shine as you engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their funding requirements. You will also have the opportunity to manage the due diligence process, ensuring all risks are identified and mitigated.

• Review and analyse property development proposals across various assets
• Oversee the development of financial models that assess the financial feasibility of property debt transactions
• Engage with clients and other relevant stakeholders to understand funding requirements and evaluate proposal feasibility & capital structure
• Maintain strong relationships with key external groups such as major banks, lawyers, property consultants
• Manage the Due Diligence process of identifying and mitigating key risks in transactions
• Coordinate the loan settlement process including coordinating all relevant parties to attend to completion of purchase/discharge settlements
• Manage the ongoing deal management process, including monitoring feasibilities and quantity surveyor reports, construction programs, compliance with covenants and conditions

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Portfolio Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in portfolio management or similar roles. Your strong analytical skills will be crucial in reviewing and analysing property investment transactions. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders. Your experience in managing due diligence processes will ensure all risks are identified and mitigated. Your ability to coordinate loan settlement processes will be essential in ensuring smooth transaction completion. Lastly, your strong relationship building skills will help maintain relationships with key external groups.

Proven experience in senior analyst/portfolio management or similar roles
Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and analyse property develpment transactions
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders
Experience in managing ongoing deal management processes
Strong relationship building skills with the ability to maintain relationships with key external groups
