About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Client Relationships, the Client Relationship Analyst will foster relationships with existing and prospective clients to meet their needs. The role is responsible for financial and credit analysis, whilst assisting the Relationship team to prepare for client engagements. The fundamental aspects of the role include credit analysis, co-ordination of credit applications, renewals and risk escalation oversight. To ensure client satisfaction, this role will work closely with the Chief Relationships Officer (CRO) and the Service Operations Delivery Team to deliver consistent and streamlined services.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer needs are met by efficient management of existing client relationships.
- Contribute to customer engagement improvements, to maximise operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Proactively work toward achievement of personal and LLL sales and customer service goals
- Process loan applications and write credit proposals for new exposure as well as additional facilities for existing clients.
- Monitor credit risk including watch lists and credit control reports.
- Develop and maintain appropriately robust and effective compliance programs, policies and procedures to support the implementation of compliance obligations.
- Foster a risk management culture ensuring identified risk is managed appropriately in accordance with its risk rating.
- Monitor for irregularities and risk, and provide timely advice to the CRO on matters of concern that could adversely impact the LLL.
About you:
- Experience with complex commercial or corporate lending in a banking environment
- Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end corporate lending processes, reading and interpreting financial reports and corporate structures
- Proficient level skills in Excel, and other reporting systems and tools
- An exceptional communicator
- High level attention to detail
