A leading financial institution is seeking a Vice President to join its Corporate & Institutional Banking team in Sydney. This role sits within a specialist coverage team focused on private credit funds, non-bank lenders, and financial institutions.

You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of private credit and non-bank client relationships, while partnering with internal product teams to deliver tailored financing and capital solutions. This is a highly visible role offering strong exposure to origination, credit processes, and institutional client engagement across Australia and New Zealand.

What you’ll do:

• Manage and develop relationships with private credit funds, non-bank lenders, and institutional clients
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and delivering tailored financing and capital solutions
• Partner with internal teams (lending, structured finance, DCM) to originate and execute transactions
• Identify and drive new business opportunities across the private credit and non-bank lending landscape
• Lead client engagement including meetings, negotiations, and ongoing relationship management
• Support deal execution through preparation of materials and involvement in credit approval processes
• Maintain strong market awareness across private credit, direct lending, and debt capital markets
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless execution and high-quality client outcomes

What you bring:

• 8–12+ years’ experience in corporate/institutional banking, private credit, or non-bank lending
• Direct experience covering private credit funds, non-bank lenders, or alternatively experience working within a private credit platform
• Strong understanding of lending products, credit processes, and capital markets
• Proven ability to build and manage senior client relationships
• Experience supporting or leading origination and transaction execution
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver client solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, or a related discipline
