An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Client Manager to join a leading organisation in the financial services industry. This role is all about managing all aspects of a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining effective client relationships in compliance with the law, scheme/trust documentation, regulatory framework, and applicable industry practices. The successful candidate will ensure superior client service and operational excellence.

What you'll do:

As a Client Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a portfolio of clients, ensuring superior client service. You will be involved in various tasks such as managing client relationships, ensuring timely regulatory lodgements, assisting senior management in ensuring compliance, monitoring service providers, managing new business on-boarding, developing operational relationships with key service providers, managing compliance systems for assigned schemes, presenting at board meetings, and overseeing billing for assigned clients.

Ensure delivery of service and operational excellence in activities in accordance with policies
Manage Client Relationships across clients including maintaining client relationship plans & conducting regular client visits
Ensure timeliness of all scheme regulatory lodgements
Assist Senior Manager and Senior Client Manager to ensure compliance is managed appropriately
Assist Governance & Oversight Manager in monitoring service providers including investment managers, custodians/prime brokers and administrators
Manage the on-boarding and integration of new business
Develop & maintain operational relationships with key service providers
Maintain and manage the compliance system for assigned schemes
Present at the Board and Compliance Committee meetings as and when required
Manage and oversee the billing for assigned clients


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Client Services Manager role will bring a wealth of experience from the financial services sector. You will have excellent client management skills coupled with strong relationship management experience. Your strong knowledge of the managed funds industry will be crucial to your success in this role. You will also possess strong process management skills and excellent time management abilities. Your ability to handle time pressure, manage difficult client calls, and negotiate effectively with counterparties will set you apart.

Ideally 5 years’ experience in Financial Services
Excellent client management skills and relationship management experience
Strong knowledge of the managed funds industry and operational experience relating to managed funds
Strong process management skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to handle time pressure, difficult client calls, agility around negotiating with counterparties
At least 3 years financial operations experience
