Client Manager

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Client Manager to manage all aspects of a portfolio of clients, ensuring superior service while complying with legal and regulatory frameworks. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for maintaining effective client relationships, managing scheme documents, and overseeing the on-boarding and off-boarding of new business. If you have a knack for multitasking, delivering within timeframes, and have a strong understanding of the managed funds industry, this could be your next career move.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of a portfolio of registered and unregistered trusts
  • Ensure timeliness of all scheme regulatory lodgements
  • Coordinate updates to scheme documents including PDS updates and service provider agreements
  • Assist in monitoring service providers including investment managers, custodians/prime brokers, registries and administrators
  • Manage the on-boarding and integration of new business as well as the off-boarding of schemes that are winding up
  • Maintain operational relationships with key clients and service providers
  • Present at board and Compliance Committee meetings as required
  • Oversee the billing for assigned clients
  • Review regular reports received by each client for compliance with scheme/trust reporting and disclosure requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in operating or providing services to a registered or unregistered trust
  • Strong client management and process management skills
  • Working knowledge of the managed funds industry and operational experience relating to managed investment schemes
  • Ability to multitask and deliver within set timeframes
  • Business/accounting/economics/law degree desirable or any tertiary qualification with appropriate experience
