Our client is seeking a Client Service Associate to join their dynamic team in Sydney, Australia. The successful candidate will be the primary operational contact for Borrowers/Issuers and Lenders on these transactions. What you'll do:
As a Client Service Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing and processing all operational aspects of client transactions. Your responsibilities will include assisting with various financial operations such as drawdowns, rollovers, rate fixes, pre-payments, redemptions and maturities. You will also facilitate funds flow between Borrowers and Lenders while ensuring that all accounts are reconciled properly. Your ability to generate notices to Borrowers and Lenders within specific timeframes will be key in this role. Additionally, you will deal with audit requests and assist with transfers.
Assist with drawdowns, rollovers, rate fixes, pre-payments, redemptions and maturities.
Manage diary to ensure BAU is being managed in a timely manner.
Facilitate funds flow between Borrowers and Lenders.
Calculate and payment of principal repayments, interest, commitment and other fees.
Prepare payments through transactional banking platforms, arranging foreign exchange transactions where appropriate.
Input relevant data into the loan operations system.
Generate notices to Borrowers and Lenders within specific timeframes.
Reconcile accounts ensuring no client account is overdrawn.
Assist with transfers and the collection of transfer fees.
Deal with audit requests.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Client Service Associate position brings along experience in loan administration. A Bachelor's degree is required for this role. You should be willing to learn new things and possess an inquisitive nature. Being highly organised, adaptable with a 'can do' positive attitude is essential. Self-motivation and effective time management are key skills that you need to bring along. Good written and verbal communication skills are necessary as you will be dealing with various stakeholders. Lastly, your ability to effectively manage priorities while balancing competing demands and deadlines will be crucial in this role.
Experience in loan administration – ideally 2+ years
Bachelor’s degree
Willingness to learn and have an inquisitive nature
Highly organised and adaptable with a “can do” positive attitude
Self-motivation and effective time management
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively manage priorities while balancing competing demands and deadlines
