What you'll do:
As an Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our client's crypto business in Australia. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you monitor operational risks and identify potential issues. You will work closely with various teams to improve customer experiences related to crypto operations. Your commitment to efficiency will shine as you manage liquidity and minimize crypto risk. Your understanding of regulations will be essential as you collaborate with compliance teams to ensure a robust AML and KYC program. Manage overall daily operations of securities settlement/remittance, ensuring all instructions are timely and accurately executed
Monitor operational and risk metrics and escalate potential issues or anomalies
Collaborate with customer service and marketing teams to continuously improve crypto related customer experiences
Manage liquidity and minimize crypto risk together with treasury team
Identify & manage initiatives to improve operational processes and reduce operational risk
Work closely with compliance teams to ensure a robust AML and KYC program
Support new crypto initiatives from the operational perspective, risk, and compliance perspective
Perform daily client /exchange / broker trade and position reconciliation, and prepare daily funding requirements
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Operations Analyst role brings a wealth of experience in Operations/Settlement/Remittance within financial or brokerage firms. Your degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines sets the foundation for your understanding of this role. Your knowledge of ASIC and AUSTRAC regulations ensures that you can navigate the complex regulatory landscape effectively. Your self-motivation, analytical mindset, ability to work under pressure, and excellent problem-solving skills make you a strong contender for this role. Proficiency in Excel, Access and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
Minimum 1~2 years of experience in Operations/Settlement/Remittance gained in financial or brokerage firms, or crypto related context is highly desired
Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
Sound knowledge of the relevant rules and regulations of ASIC and AUSTRAC
Self-motivated, with a good analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure
Excellent presentation and problem solving skills
Good command of written and spoken English; Chinese is a plus
Proficient in Excel, Access and Microsoft Office Suite
