This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide independent and objective assurance to senior management on the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting the organisation in achieving its strategic goal of becoming the most customer-centric digital healthcare organisation. This will be achieved by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the evaluation and improvement of processes.

What you'll do:

As a Senior IT Auditor, your role will be integral in providing independent assurance on risk management, control, and governance processes. You will lead IT internal audits across various regions, working closely with other teams to provide necessary IT audit support. Your ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders will be crucial in maximising effectiveness and resolving issues. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to improving efficiency within the Internal Audit team through innovative approaches such as data analytics. Staying abreast of new developments in your field will be essential for continuous improvement.

  • Deliver high-quality work autonomously, following agreed work plans to identify key risks and verify the effectiveness of controls.
  • Lead and take ownership of the planning, execution, and reporting of IT audits across various regions.
  • Provide necessary IT audit support and advice on business audits with Technology impact.
  • Build and maintain internal relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Assist in making the Internal Audit team more efficient through the use of data analytics, continuous monitoring, and modelling techniques.
  • Stay abreast of new developments affecting IT internal audit work, respond to changing business needs, and strive for continuous improvement.


What you bring:

As a Senior IT Auditor, you bring a wealth of experience in IT auditing along with relevant tertiary qualifications. Your strong knowledge of application controls, IT security, identity and access management sets you apart. You have a deep understanding of risk management principles which enables you to deliver high-quality work consistently. Your ability to analyse large sets of data from various sources is highly regarded. Above all, your excellent communication skills allow you to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or Commerce/Business.
  • 3+ years of IT audit experience.
  • Strong knowledge of application controls, IT security, identity and access management.
  • Deep understanding of risk management and audit principles.
  • Ability to use data analytics or work with large sets of data from various sources.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation and interpersonal skills.
