Claims Management Officer
We are currently assisting our client with the recruitment of multiple Claims Management Officers to join a highly respected organisation based in Eight Mile Plains. As a valued member of the team, you will play a crucial part in delivering compassionate and effective claims management services, ensuring every customer receives the highest standard of care.
With weekday shifts offering variety and weekend availability required, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in an environment where no two days are the same. The initial contract is for three months, with the strong possibility of extension, making it an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills and experience within a supportive and collaborative setting.
What you'll do:
- Manage end-to-end claims processes with care and attention to detail, ensuring each claim is handled efficiently from initiation through to resolution.
- Triage incoming claims by assessing their urgency and complexity, prioritising cases appropriately to deliver timely outcomes for all parties involved.
- Undertake cost recovery activities by liaising with relevant stakeholders and following established procedures to ensure accurate financial processing.
- Make informed referral decisions by evaluating claim details and determining when specialist input or escalation is required for optimal results.
- Process claims documentation accurately using internal systems, maintaining up-to-date records that reflect the latest status of each case.
- Deliver high-quality outcomes by consistently applying organisational policies and demonstrating empathy towards customers throughout their claims journey.
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email, providing clear updates on claim progress while addressing any questions or concerns with sensitivity.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across different teams to share information, resolve issues promptly, and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on quality or accuracy.
