Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic AWS DevOps Engineer to join their Financial Risk Analytics (FRA) Cloud Development and Operation team.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a global team that develops, maintains, and supports deployments for a Risk as a Service offering. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining all infrastructure and cloud-native aspects of the solution, ensuring the smooth operation of business-critical systems for clients around the world. What you'll do:

As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in building AWS infrastructure as code to support our client's hosted offering. You will take responsibility for identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects until they are resolved. Your role will involve continuous improvement of infrastructure components, enhancing cloud security, and ensuring the reliability of services. You will also automate end-to-end release cycles and provide operational support for cloud infrastructure, including incident response and maintenance.

  • Build AWS infrastructure as code to support our hosted offering
  • Identify, document, and track software defects until resolution
  • Continuously improve infrastructure components, cloud security, and service reliability
  • Automate end-to-end release cycles
  • Provide operational support for cloud infrastructure including incident response and maintenance


What you bring:

The ideal AWS DevOps Engineer candidate brings extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) along with familiarity with container-based deployment technologies such as Amazon ECS and Amazon EKS. You have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies like CloudFormation and Terraform. Your development skills include proficiency in Python and/or Bash. You possess strong collaboration skills that enable you to thrive in a team environment. Additionally, you have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
