Investment Associate

An investment manager, working within the long-short fund space is looking for an analytical candidate to join their team as an Investment Associate.

The Investment Associate will play a vital role in supporting the investment management team by conducting research, analyzing market trends, and assisting in the management of investment portfolios. This position involves working closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and other investment professionals to ensure the effective execution of investment strategies.

Role Responsibilities:

Research & Analysis:

Conduct in-depth research on various industries, companies, and market conditions.
Analyze financial statements, economic reports, and industry data to identify potential investment opportunities.
Monitor global economic trends and their impact on investment portfolios.

Investment Modelling & Forecasting:

Develop and maintain financial models to predict the performance of investments.
Utilize quantitative methods to assess risk and return profiles of different assets.

Client Relationship Management:

Engage with clients to provide updates on their investments, answer inquiries, and discuss portfolio adjustments.
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by addressing concerns and maintaining regular communication.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree or CFA designation is a plus.
2-4 years of experience in investment management, asset management, or related fields.
