ETF Product Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable ETF Product Manager to join their dynamic team in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the Product Management team across a diverse range of ETF products. The successful candidate will be involved in reviewing and maintaining existing ETF products, aiding with bringing new ETFs to market, and developing a strong understanding of the ETF ecosystem. This role provides direct exposure to the firm's existing ETFs and ensures alignment with their strategy of providing innovation-driven investments while broadening their core ETF offering.

What you'll do:

As an ETF Product Manager, your role will be pivotal in maintaining and expanding our client's ETF product range. You will be responsible for managing the product launch pipeline, bringing new products to market, and maintaining key relationships with service providers. Your expertise will be crucial in selecting and designing indexes alongside Portfolio Managers. Additionally, you will ensure that all regulatory requirements are met by developing and maintaining critical product documentation. Your collaborative skills will also be put to use as you work closely with sales on fund due diligence and rating agency reviews.

• Maintain a visible product launch pipeline in consultation and collaboration with key stakeholders
• Bring new products to market in a timely manner, working closely with exchanges other teams
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers on index selection and design
• Maintain relationships with key service providers critical to product operations
• Develop and maintain critical product documentation, ensuring all regulatory requirements are adhered to
• Collaborate closely with sales on fund due diligence and rating agency reviews

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this ETF Product Manager position brings a wealth of investment experience, particularly in ETF product management. You possess excellent technical knowledge of financial products across various asset classes. Your strong analytical and numerical skills enable you to develop effective Excel models and utilise financial data sources efficiently. A deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for financial products in Australia is essential for this role. Furthermore, your knowledge of the ETF capital markets landscape will be invaluable.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent, e.g. CFA
• A minimum of 5+ years of previous investment experience in ETF product management or related areas
• Excellent technical knowledge of financial products across asset classes
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for financial products in Australia
• Knowledge of the ETF capital markets landscape
