Investment Analyst - Managed Accounts

This role involves analyzing, managing, and optimizing investment portfolios for their clients to achieve their financial goals. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of investment principles, and the ability to make data-driven recommendations.

Role responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of managed investment portfolios, including performance evaluation, risk assessment, and asset allocation.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to project investment performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and recommend adjustments to align with client objectives and market conditions.
  • Perform extensive research on market trends, economic conditions, and investment opportunities to inform portfolio strategies.
  • Evaluate and select investment vehicles (e.g., equities, fixed income, alternatives) based on client's risk profiles and investment goals.

Role requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. CFA designation or progress towards it is preferred.
  • Strong experience working with Morningstar Direct.
  • Previous experience in working within managed accounts - multi-manager model portfolios via SMAs, MDAs, and fund of funds.
