The Opportunity

Working closely with a highly experienced and down-to-earth Chief Financial Officer with deep commercial finance expertise, this role provides the structure and sophistication of a secure financial services environment while allowing for innovation as the organisation undergoes an enterprise resource planning transformation, new deals and the build out of a high performing treasury team. The Role
As Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring liquidity, investment management, and financial risk governance, while developing relationships with key financial institutions and government stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing liquidity, cash flow, and investment portfolios to ensure financial sustainability and optimise financial performance.
- Developing and implementing treasury policies and risk frameworks to mitigate exposure to market, liquidity, and operational risks.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, including engagement with government departments on portfolio budget statements and appropriations.
- Building and managing key relationships with external banks, investment partners, and government stakeholders to enhance investment and funding strategies.
- Driving treasury innovation and operational improvements, with the opportunity to contribute to broader financial strategy and enterprise resource planning initiatives.
- Providing high-level reporting for the Board, Audit and Risk Committee, and the Finance and Investment Committee, ensuring transparency and compliance with investment policies.
- Utilising treasury management systems for cash flow forecasting, managing funding pools, and optimising liquidity planning.
The Team and Culture

This role will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and senior finance leaders, providing exposure to executive decision-making, investment policy, and capital strategy development.

Who You Are
You are a treasury professional with at least five to seven years of experience, capable of balancing technical treasury expertise with strategic financial oversight. You are resilient, enjoy a fast paced environment and have worked with sums of money surpassing $500M.
You bring:
- Experience in corporate treasury, financial services, or capital management.
- Strong technical expertise in cash management, liquidity planning, investment strategy, and risk governance.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across banks, investment partners, and government bodies.
- Experience in treasury governance, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting, particularly in a corporate or institutional setting.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial modelling, with a strong grasp of capital flows and working capital optimisation.
- A strategic mindset, thriving in a mission-driven, commercially focused organisation, where financial decision-making has a tangible long-term impact.
