Business Development Manager - Crypto

Robert Walters has partnered with a technology company, specialising in digital asset infrastructure and services. The organisation covers trading software, digital asset liquidity, portfolio management, foreign exchange services, investment products, and tokenization across the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors.

Our client is looking for a driven business development manager to join their growing team. The role will focus on revenue generation, strategic product development, contract management, and investor engagement, emphasising scaling partnerships and fostering trust within the institutional financial ecosystem.

Role responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Executive Committee to develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, focusing on onboarding business, wholesale, institutional clients and multi-product managers onto the BetterX platform.
• Align OKRs with the firm’s business objectives.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of B2B opportunities to grow AUM and expand trading volumes.
• Agree on a target for new revenue with the board and other c-suite as part of the budget process, take responsibility for delivery of this, and ensure monthly reporting with KPI.
• Oversee client and partner contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  Establish and manage efficient processes for contract renewals.
  Join regulatory working groups and industry bodies to position the company with horizon scanning from an opportunity and defence perspective.

Role requirements:

• Previous sales experience in financial services is a MUST.
• Understanding of sales cycles, financial services and asset management.
• Experience digital asset trading or cryptocurrency markets would be advantageous.
