Business Development Associate - Private Markets

Robert Walters has partnered with a high-performing alternatives manager with a strong presence across listed and unlisted strategies, currently expanding its distribution team in Sydney.

You’ll work directly with a senior distribution team, gaining exposure to HNW, family office and wholesale clients. The platform is well-regarded, has strong product backing across private markets, and is actively growing its footprint in Australia.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting capital raising and client engagement across private market strategies
• Building relationships with advisers, HNW investors and family offices
• Preparing investment materials, client updates and market insights
• Working closely with senior BDMs on meetings, pitches and strategy

What they’re looking for:

• 1–3 year's experience in funds management, asset management or wealth
• Client service, operations or junior distribution background
• Strong interest in private markets and investing
• Polished, commercial and confident communicator
