We’re on the hunt for motivated individuals who are customer service focused to work with members and their personal lending needs.
As a Lending Specialist, you will process loan request's from application, verification and formal approval stage in accordance with the company’s service level agreements in lending policies and procedures. You will be workkng in a team environment that drives a supportive and inclusive culture, with comprehensive and on-going training and development, additionally, this team offers hybrid work from home and office opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
• Build strong relationships and contribute to personal lending growth through the efficient management of personal loan enquiries and applications
• Manage loan applications through to verification and formal approval across multiple channels including virtual, online, and inbound calls
• Proactively connect members in engaging quality conversations regarding their personal lending and financial needs
• Adhere to policies and procedures
Key requirements:
• Demonstrated experience working in a similar customer service environment
• Strong credit risk assessment skills gained through experience within a major financial institution (or equivalent)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to actively listen to members to ensure their needs are best met
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time efficiently in a fast paced and high call volume environment
• A positive attitude, a team mentality and committed in achieving the best outcomes for the business and members
• High level of computer literacy
• Previous contact centre experience is preferred but not essential
Successful applicants must be flexible with availability across the rostered span of business hours (8:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday) and be willing to undergo a national background checks and reference checks.
