Operations Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Operations Analyst to join a dynamic team within a leading global fixed income asset management entity. This role offers the chance to work closely with an experienced operations group, portfolio managers, and the Chief Operating Officer. The successful candidate will be part of a small project team, working on the implementation of an internal capacity to manage derivative trades. Responsbilities:

  • Validate and process Fixed Income trades, ensuring accuracy and compliance in line with mandates
  • Monitor trade lifecycle events, handle exceptions, and manage regulatory control processes
  • Participate in the implementation of trade confirmation, settlements, and reconciliations for derivative trades, largely CDS and IRS
  • Assist in the set-up of clearing infrastructure with a clearing broker and relevant CCH entities
  • Assist in other project work as required

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience within a funds management, custodian or banking environment
  • Demonstrated experience in credit and derivative settlement/ trade lifecycle events
  • Knowledge of reconciliation, payment and accounting management practices and processes
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • High level of attention to detail
