Our client is seeking a Regulatory Operations Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and administer global derivative transactions across all businesses, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of transaction reporting across APAC and North America.

The successful candidate will be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone contributes ideas and drives outcomes. This is a unique chance to work for a global financial services group operating in 34 markets with 55 years of unbroken profitability.

What you'll do:

As a Regulatory Operations Analyst, your role will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement initiatives to our processes and daily deliverables. You will be responsible for monitoring and clearing exceptions while producing insightful management reports. Your strong risk mindset, problem-solving skills, and knowledge in trade lifecycle and system flows will enable you to identify, escalate, and resolve investigations effectively. Collaborating with stakeholders in business, compliance, legal, and technology will be a key part of your role. As the primary point of contact for the onshore team and manager, you will ensure that expectations are consistently met between the two locations.

  • Continuous improvement initiatives to processes and daily deliverables
  • Monitoring and clearing of exceptions, producing management reporting
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve investigations with strong risk mindset, problem-solving skills and knowledge in trade lifecycle and system flows
  • Work with stakeholders in business, compliance, legal, and technology
  • Key point of contact for onshore team and manager
  • Ensure expectations are met between two locations

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Regulatory Operations Analyst position brings experience in OTC derivative financial markets or APAC regulatory reporting. Your excellent analytical skills will be crucial in this role along with your proven track record of delivering process improvements. Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, Alteryx, PowerBI or PowerAutomate to investigate large data sets is essential. Your ability to work collaboratively within a team environment across borders coupled with your strong stakeholder management skills will set you apart.

  • Experience in OTC derivative financial markets or APAC regulatory reporting
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience with delivering process improvements
