What you'll do:
As Settlements Manager, you will play a central role in guiding a talented team responsible for end-to-end transaction processing.
- Guide and support a team of Settlement Officers by overseeing their daily activities, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently and within established deadlines.
- Monitor team performance closely by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and encouraging continuous improvement through coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure all settlement operations comply with internal policies as well as industry regulations and legal requirements, maintaining the highest standards of integrity.
What you bring:
To excel as Settlements Manager, you will bring proven experience from previous roles involving settlements or operational management within financial services. Your background includes hands-on exposure to loan documentation processes as well as settlement system operations.
- Minimum of 3–5 year's experience in a similar settlements or operations role within financial services or banking environments is essential for this position.
- Demonstrated background in leading teams effectively by delegating tasks thoughtfully, coaching individuals towards their goals, and motivating others under pressure.
- Comprehensive understanding of loan documentation requirements as well as settlement systems used within the industry is required for success.
