Lending Solution Manager

Save job

A leading organisation is seeking a Lending Solutions Manager to join their Sydney team. This senior position is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values supportive leadership, and enjoys mentoring and developing others. You will be empowered to influence process improvements, ensure high service standards, and foster a culture of teamwork and growth.

  • Take ownership of planning and coordinating daily operations within Lending Solutions, ensuring service standards are consistently met or exceeded across all offices.
  • Enjoy flexible working arrangements, comprehensive training programmes, and generous pension contributions that support your professional development and well-being.
  • Work closely with supportive leaders who value collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the creation of operational efficiencies that benefit both clients and team members.

What you'll do:

As a Lending Solutions Manager, you will be at the heart of daily operations—coordinating activities across teams to ensure consistent service delivery nationwide. Your role involves monitoring workflows, supporting colleagues directly when challenges arise, managing client interactions with empathy and professionalism, and collaborating closely with senior leadership on staff development. You will champion process enhancements that drive operational efficiency while maintaining rigorous compliance standards. By producing insightful reports on resource allocation and performance measures each month, you will help shape strategic decisions that impact both business outcomes and employee engagement. Success in this role means fostering a positive environment where every team member feels supported in their growth journey while delivering reliable solutions for clients.

  • Coordinate, manage, and monitor the day-to-day internal operations of all teams within Lending Solutions to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Oversee daily reporting processes, assess team workloads, and provide hands-on assistance to colleagues whenever needed.
  • Manage operational plans by addressing client queries, handling escalations and complaints, and maintaining exceptional satisfaction levels among stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to evaluate staff performance, ensuring that standards of work, KPIs, and behaviour are consistently upheld.
  • Ensure the Lending Solutions team is adequately resourced and trained so they can effectively serve clients while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Work alongside the General Manager to develop new policies, procedures, and specific training needs tailored to business requirements.
  • Drive process improvements by identifying methods that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic goals within the team.
  • Assist with the implementation and updating of documents as well as internal systems for various stakeholders across the business.
  • Monitor adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while designing remedies to reduce risk of complaints or incidents.
  • Produce monthly reports for the General Manager detailing resourcing requirements, training needs, employee-related issues, and performance against SLAs.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for Lending Solutions Manager brings a wealth of experience from legal services—particularly loan and mortgage environments—paired with strong interpersonal skills that foster trust among colleagues. Your proven track record in managing teams collaboratively highlights your commitment to nurturing talent through mentorship while maintaining high standards of work. You excel at organising complex tasks efficiently without losing sight of important details or deadlines. Your approachable nature ensures open lines of communication within the team; meanwhile your technical expertise allows you to deliver accurate reports that inform strategic decisions. Sensitivity towards confidential matters further underscores your reliability as someone who can be trusted with critical information. Ultimately, your blend of industry knowledge, soft skills such as empathy and responsiveness, plus advanced IT capabilities positions you as an invaluable asset ready to make a meaningful impact.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of legal services related to loans and mortgages enables you to navigate complex client requirements with ease.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles where you have managed teams collaboratively and nurtured talent through mentorship.
  • Exceptional organisational skills allow you to plan effectively while balancing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills empower you to interpret information accurately and convey it clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently ensures you remain responsive even when faced with competing demands or tight deadlines.
  • Approachable demeanour makes you accessible to colleagues seeking guidance or conflict resolution support.
  • Experience supervising staff demonstrates your capacity for balancing supervision with ongoing encouragement and feedback.
  • Comfort working independently without direct supervision shows your dependability in managing responsibilities autonomously.
  • Attention to detail guarantees high levels of accuracy when handling confidential information or sensitive issues.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint supports your ability to produce quality reports and presentations.
