Research Analyst
**FULLY REMOTE** An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate to support the development of a comprehensive feasibility study for a proposed solar wafer manufacturing facility. This role offers the chance to work remotely on a contract basis, with the potential for extension. You will be conducting detailed research, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and preparing key reports to inform commercial, policy, and strategic decisions. 12-month contract with potential extension Fully remote position Part-time or full-time opportunities
What you'll do:
As a Research Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of a comprehensive feasibility study for a proposed solar wafer manufacturing facility. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve conducting detailed research, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and preparing key reports that will inform commercial, policy, and strategic decisions. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of the project such as transport logistics review, ESG strategy report, market review reports, and geopolitical impact report.
- Conduct research and draft reports across various feasibility study components.
- Assist in analysing and reporting on infrastructure, costs, and routes for raw materials and finished goods.
- Oversee and assist in the preparation of sustainability strategy reports.
- Compile key findings for stakeholders.
- Analyse global and regional demand for PV products.
- Assist in the development of detailed analysis of required Manufacturing Production Credits.
- Research and report on geopolitical impact on supply chain.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Research Associate role will bring strong research, analytical, and report writing skills. You should have an understanding of or interest in policy, trade, and economic frameworks for imports and exports from Australia. Experience with feasibility studies or infrastructure/clean energy projects would be advantageous. Your ability to synthesize complex information and present findings clearly will be crucial to your success in this role.
