You are looking at an established Gold Coast financial planning practice, poised for significant growth and expansion. They specialize in delivering comprehensive financial planning advice with a focus on superannuation and insurance. Their commitment to excellence is supported by robust back-office support, including Paraplanning and administration assistance, ensuring their advisors can focus on what they do best—building and nurturing client relationships.

Position:
This is a full-time permanent role as a Financial Advisor, where you will take charge of an existing client book while actively pursuing new business through leads and referrals. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional financial planning advice and establishing enduring client relationships.

  • Provide comprehensive financial planning advice, focusing on superannuation and insurance.
  • Nurture and manage existing client relationships while actively pursuing new business through leads and referrals.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both in dealing with clients and during the onboarding process.
  • Work efficiently and effectively with the marketing and back office team to onboard new clients.
  • Deliver outstanding and efficient service to all customers.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior/provisional advisers.
  • Demonstrate exceptional client relationship and rapport-building capabilities.
  • Ongoing advice and building of relationships with existing clients
  • Stay updated on industry/market knowledge.

Experience Needed:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • FASEA/ASIC approved Bachelor's degree or higher in financial planning, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • FASEA Compliance + completion of PY
  • 2 - 5+ years experience providing comprehensive financial advice, particularly in super & insurance
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication skills.
  • A collaborative, team player, with an adaptable and agile approach to your work
  • Proven experience in onboarding new clients and handling leads.
  • Possesses a motivated and enthusiastic persona.
