Financial Advice Support Specialist

Our client, a leading provider of wealth management services in Australia, is seeking a dedicated Financial Advice Support Specialist to join their Melbourne-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to support HNW & UHNW clients and help them protect and grow their wealth. What you'll do:

As a Financial Advice Support Specialist, your role will be integral to the smooth operation of our client's Melbourne-based advice teams. Your role will predominantly revolve around the administration of superannuation and SMSF tasks and be an SMSF specialist within the team. Above all, your support will contribute significantly to the team's continued leadership in providing top-tier advice.

• Be an SMSF specialist and understanding superannuation strategies
• Perform administrative tasks like financial modelling and assist in developing strategies for financial independence for HNW clients
• Play a pivotal role in writing SOA's.
• Assist in managing and growing the business
• Ensure efficient workflow around giving advice
• Maintain a high level of client service
• Work proactively and meet firm deadlines
• Support the team in maintaining leadership in advice

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Financial Advice Support Specialist role brings a wealth of skills and experience. You have an interest or strong desire to be involved in strategic financial planning, coupled with an understanding of superannuation strategies, including SMSFs. Your knowledge extends to the structures that apply to complex strategic advice, cashflow modelling, and debt structuring. An accounting qualification is desirable but not essential. Most importantly, you have previous experience in a similar role

• Understanding of superannuation strategies, including SMSFs
• Strong knowledge on Tax, structures, personal tax, super, estate planning. Including understanding cashflow, debt structuring.
• Knowledge of structures that apply to complex strategic advice
• Accounting qualification is desirable
• Previous experience in a similar role
