Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Adviser to join their team. Based in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs, you'll have the chance to leverage your existing portfolio or strong referral networks. This position also presents an exciting pathway for partnership within the business.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Financial Adviser, your primary role will be to provide holistic advice to retail clients and some high net worth individuals and families. You'll assist clients in planning for their financial goals by providing comprehensive strategies across various financial aspects. Your ability to build trusted relationships will be key in delivering client-centric solutions. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in growing the client book and business funds under administration through effective business development strategies. Leadership is also a significant aspect of this role as you'll be expected to guide the team and potentially take on management responsibilities.

  • Provide comprehensive advice across investments, superannuation, insurance, contributions, pensions, Centrelink etc.
  • Assist clients in planning for their financial goals
  • Grow the client book and business funds under administration through business development
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and provide client-centric solutions
  • Show leadership amongst the team and willingness to take on management responsibilities


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Financial Adviser role brings a wealth of experience, having spent at least five years in a similar position. You should ideally possess an existing portfolio of retail clients or have robust referral strategies in place. Your exceptional client relationship skills and rapport-building capabilities will be essential in this role. We're looking for someone who holds themselves to a high standard of compliance and ethical business practices. A relevant bachelor’s degree in financial planning or a similar discipline is required, along with meeting all FASEA requirements. Leadership qualities are highly desirable as there may be opportunities to step into a management role.

  • Minimum 5+ years experience as a Financial Adviser
  • Possess an existing portfolio of retail clients or strong referral strategies
  • Leadership qualities with potential to step into management role
  • Exceptional client relationship skills and rapport building capabilities
  • High standard for compliance and ethical business practices
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in financial planning or similar discipline
  • Meet all FASEA requirements
