You would be working as part of a team of four who are responsible for all the quality assurance for all client on-boarding. It is essential to have someone with AUSTRAC reporting for International Funds Transaction Instructions (IFTI’s). They need someone with experience not just with the submission of the reporting, but also how to asses a transaction, whether it should be reported or not.
The key responsibilities include:
• Establish and improve on the Quality Assurance framework
• Undertake review of all work requests and complete quality assurance to ensure that work request is completed according to customer request, in line with procedures materials and meets all compliance and legal requirements
• Devise metrics and reporting to Management including Team Leads
• Report processing deficiencies to the Team Leader based on both individuals and also according to process
• Identify process improvements, and training gaps to Team Leader, and provide support
• Share technical knowledge with team by becoming technical specialist for team on key processes
• Undertake and Assist with remediation with an emphasis on being proactive to identify ways to reduce potential remediation work
• Actively participate & provide constructive feedback in all training programs provided
The key requirements include:
- A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in banking roles / previous QA leadership roles
- Must have AUSTRAC reporting for International Funds Transaction Instructions (IFTI’s)
- Financial banking products in particular Lending, Deposits and cards
- Code of Banking Practice, AML, FATCA and other regulatory issues in AU
- Working experience with Retail back office systems
- An understanding of banking and finance operations
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Previous Experience in KYC and legislative requirements for account opening accompanied by experience dealing with AML and CTF requirements.
