The role will support the Head of Legal Risk and Compliance in supporting the business's Risk and Compliance functions and responsibilities by managing all aspects of risk compliance.
This role is a mix of business as usual and specialist project review of the effectiveness of risk controls across different business units, meeting regulatory compliance standards and updating internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in the establishment, maintenance, and improvement of the company's Controls Assurance Policy.
• Evaluate and verify the efficiency of controls throughout the organisation to detect potential risks and areas where current controls may be lacking.
• Create and implement testing plans and procedures to validate control effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyse results to pinpoint the root causes of control deficiencies and provide recommendations for addressing them.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation and tracking of control deficiencies, working closely with business units to devise and implement remediation plans.
• Uphold company compliance expectations by adhering to all quality and legislative standards, and introduce and update internal policies as necessary.

Key Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in risk management, compliance or internal audit.
• Strong understanding of risk and compliance frameworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated reporting and presentation skills.
