Why This Role Matters
As a senior risk leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risk. You will partner closely with executive leadership to build a robust risk culture while helping the business grow safely and sustainably.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a team responsible for financial crime prevention and compliance across the organisation.

Embed a proactive risk culture by providing guidance, coaching, and strategic oversight.

Partner with executive leadership to ensure risks are effectively identified, assessed, and managed.

Monitor emerging trends in digital banking, operational risk, and compliance, translating insights into actionable strategies.

Champion continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams to enhance processes and risk frameworks.

Influence organisational strategy, advocating for initiatives that strengthen overall risk management practices.

Support implementation of regulatory reforms and policies related to banking and operational risk.
Your Experience

Proven experience in a senior risk or compliance leadership role (minimum 3–4 years).

Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Exposure to digital-first, agile environments, ideally within financial services or fintech.

Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive strategic outcomes.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across executive teams.

Skilled in preparing and presenting strategic papers, reports, and insights to senior audiences.

Willingness to travel occasionally (e.g., monthly to a key office location).
