Analyst - Property Finance

Save job

An exciting opportunity has arisen with an industry leading property finance group for an Analyst to join their team here in Brisbane. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to immerse yourself in complex, high-value transactions ranging from land and construction to mezzanine and structured finance agreements. Working directly with Associate Directors and Directors across the portfolio this role is geared for exceptional learning in a high growth environment.

Your day-to-day will involve collaborating closely with senior leaders on live deals — developing bespoke financial models and preparing compelling credit submissions. This role directly supports the organisation in delivering large scale commercial property finance transactions.

What you'll do:

  • Develop detailed project finance strategies including feasibility models, cash flow forecasts and funding tables.
  • Coordinate valuation processes including IRR calculations and NPV assessments to support deal structuring.
  • Prepare comprehensive lender credit submissions across a range of lending groups.
  • Build and manage relationships with key external stakeholders across lending and development groups.
  • Manage multiple applications per client across various asset classes.

To excel as a Property Finance Analyst in this organisation you will bring not only deep technical knowledge but also finely honed interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport quickly with clients at all levels.

What you'll bring:

  • At least three years experience working within property finance environments.
  • High level stakeholder management skills both internal and external.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions without compromising attention to detail or quality of outcomes.
  • Proven capability in developing feasibility models and constructing funding structures.
  • Prior exposure to land acquisition financing or construction lending environments which further broadens your transactional expertise.
  • Understanding of complex lending situations.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
