Projects range from Royal Commission recommendations, Advice Remediation through to new product development. Superannuation and Pensions experience is a must.
Key Responsibilities
• Scheduling requirements workshops and meetings as required and co-ordinate analysis activities;
• Collaborating with business partners, technology groups, suppliers and customer groups to elicit, analyse, prioritise, validate, document and communicate business requirements;
• Plan, estimate and report on Business Analysis activities and deliverables;
• Developing detailed Business Process Specifications, Business Requirements and System Functional / Non Functional Specifications that will drive the desired outcome with a short implementation timeframe, as well as manage system change over a longer horizon;
• Getting outcomes without authority by using influence, perseverance and displaying a willingness to be involved in activities to drive outputs;
• Focussing on detail to plan and validate remediation outputs (such as letters and DE files) and remediating impacted customers through liason with Operations areas;
• Using and reviewing quantative analysis to confirm customer approaches and outcomes;
• Engage with and inform key stakeholders, including BAU teams who will be responsible for the change going forward to ensure they remain engaged and committed throughout the project;
• Help to ensure project related risk (both project and operations) is within desired levels and that risks are managed according to agreed risk frameworks by understanding governance and the escalation framework; prepare business impact and risk assessments for the proposed change and/or recommended business solution that mitigates the risks with associated costs and benefits; and facilitating informed discussions about the related risks to the Senior Business Analyst/ Project Manager and key stakeholders;
• Review and revise documentation in light of any new information and/or changes to initial assumptions, including implications for project time, cost, quality and risk; and
supporting testing, training and implementation activities to ensure the successful delivery of the overall business and technology solutions
Key Requirements
• 5+ years of business process improvement/re-engineering, data analysis, system functional and non-function experience
• Superannuation and/or Pensions experience essential
• Remediation experience desirable
• A strong understanding of technology and business systems
• Operations understanding highly desirable
