Senior Test Analyst 4 month Contract $680 -$689 + Super p/d Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney Interviews next week

A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to play a pivotal role in the system testing and System Integration Testing (SIT) of their Portfolio Management Solution (PMS).

What you'll do:

• Design and document comprehensive system testing and System Integration Testing (SIT) test cases by interpreting detailed system and integration requirements.
• Prepare robust test scenarios that validate the movement, transformation, and accuracy of data across various interfaces such as positions, NAV, cash, security master, and trade files.
• Contribute actively to the preparation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and test conditions in close partnership with business stakeholders.
• Validate system behaviour by checking data ingestion processes, mapping accuracy, and interface connectivity while ensuring all activities remain safely contained within designated test portfolios.
• Capture execution results meticulously and maintain comprehensive testing evidence in accordance with established organisations standards.
• Strong experience in system testing and integration testing across multi-vendor ecosystem.
• Collaborate effectively with external vendors involved in SIT to ensure seamless coordination of testing activities.
• Log defects accurately in Jira/Xray with clear replication steps, precise classification, and complete supporting evidence to support quality management initiatives.

What you bring:

• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale system integration projects within the financial services sector or similar environments where data accuracy is paramount.
• Proven track record in finance-related testing activities with strong reconciliation skills ensuring consistency between source systems and outputs.
• Hands-on experience preparing for and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including scenario development in partnership with business users.
• Comprehensive understanding of test planning principles including design of SIT test cases based on complex requirements documentation.
• Familiarity with validating data movement through interfaces such as positions, NAV calculations, cash flows, security master records, and trade files.
• Experience executing integration tests involving both SFTP file transfers and API-based communications across multiple platforms (e.g., Matrix, pControl).
• Ability to capture detailed execution results while maintaining thorough evidence aligned with organisational standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with external vendors as well as cross-functional technology integration teams.
• Competence in defect logging using Jira/Xray or similar tools with attention to detail regarding replication steps and evidence collection.
