Customer Service Representative

Our client is a member-based Australian Bank that truly cares about its members and focuses on quality of care more than anything else. You will be a part of a tight knit team and working under an inspirational leader who will be able to offer training and best practice within Banking & Financial Services. On the day to day you will be dealing with new and existing members via phone and email and addressing any queries, pain points and complaints and explaining various products offerings within superannuation, insurance and lending. We are looking for someone with a Retail/Hospitality/Customer Service background wanting to build their career in a corporate environment and Financial Services more specifically. This role is based in Sydney CBD and offers WFH opportunity after a probationary period of 6 months.

What will my day to day look like?

• Answering phone calls and email from new and existing members and acting as 1st point of contact
• Identifying and cross selling lending opportunities, general insurance products, superannuation products
• Identifying opportunities to increase the retail deposit portfolio
• Address and investigate any member pain points and complaints
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members to meet the members needs
• Member verification - verifying customers as per KYC requirements
• Identify ways to continuously improve service offering and member experience

What are we looking for?

• Experience in retail, hospitality or customer service/call centre
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written - this will be key
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail
• A positive and solution-orientated attitude
• Genuine interest in the company and Banking/Financial Services
