Lending Support Officer
The Lending Support Officer is responsible for providing customers with relevant, accurate and up-to-date information to answer new home loan enquiries and determine if they are ready to be referred to a Home Loan Specialist. The Lending Support Officer support the customers, Home Loan Specialists and Brokers through the application life-cycle to settlement.

Lending Support Officer Position Details:
- Permanent Full Time
- Immediate Start Available
- Attractive Annual Salary
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
- Rotating roster of 8:30am – 5:30pm
- Adelaide CBD Location
- 4 Weeks Annual Leave + 1 week of Well-being Leave per year
- Flexible Hybrid Working Environment
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create more homeowners through effective and adaptive communication and empathy.
- Empowering customers to achieve their dream of entering the housing market.
- Attend inbound calls and providing customers with accurate and appropriate Home Loan information, including new and refinancing enquiries.
- Aiming for a first call resolution while undertaking helpful, knowledgeable, and empathetic lending conversations with timely follow up.
- Assessing customers home loan eligibility according to specified guidelines and requirements.
- Referring suitable customers to the Home Loan Specialists.
- Assisting customers and brokers over the home loan application process.
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum requirement of 1 year experience in similar lending / customer service roles.
- Strong understanding of mortgage lending/home loan processes and requirements.
- Team player with a solutions-based approach to customer service.
- The ability to take the customer on a journey through all stages of the lending process.
- Active listening skills with an ability to empathise and connect with the target market.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An ability to adapt communication style with a diverse range of customers.
- Strong resilience and internal motivators to provide genuine help and assistance to customers
