Customer Support Officer - Darlinghurst
I am on the lookout for contract and short-term workers for a government-based Admin/Customer Support Officer.
Start Date: 04/05.2026
End date: 30.06.2026, scope for extension
Payrate: $274.00 per day + super
Location: Darlinghurst
Working Arrangements: 5 days in office
Working Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 per week
Role Description:
- Deliver high quality end-to-end customer support to Medical Assessors and users of the Personal Injury Commission’s (Commission) Medical Suites in line with organisational policies and procedures.
- Provide quality support and a high level of customer service to Medical Assessors and Commission
users who use the medical suites to ensure effective service delivery outcomes - Provide administrative support services to ensure correspondence, schedules and records are
accurately maintained and promptly responded to support the effective operation of the medical suites - Maintain and apply sound knowledge of current procedures and guidelines to resolve queries and
escalate more complex matters where appropriate to ensure provision of timely and responsible
customer service - Act as the point of contact for Medical Assessors and Commission users to ensure the effective flow of
information and resolution of issues in a timely manner - Assist and actively participate in the development, implementation and review of practices, procedures,
and protocols to support continuous improvement - Assist in the development of an effective knowledge base and other initiatives to improve capability
within the team and support a culture of collaboration - Identify and escalate potential risks and issues, including suspected corrupt conduct, to support risk
mitigation - Maintain medical suites facilities in accordance with current procedures and guidelines
Previous government experience is advantageous but not essential.
Open to visa holders and permanent residents. A police check will be required for this role.
